JMeter __intSum function reference: syntax, parameters, and practical examples for parameterizing test plans with dynamic values.
Also documented in context in the full Functions and Variables reference.
The intSum function can be used to compute the sum of two or more integer values.
| Name | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| First argument | Yes | The first int value. |
| Second argument | Yes | The second int value. |
| nth argument | No | The nth int value. |
| last argument | No | A reference name for reusing the value computed by this function. If specified, the reference name must contain at least one non-numeric character otherwise it will be treated as another int value to be added. |
Examples:
\${__intSum(2,5,MYVAR)}will return 7 (2+5) and store the result in MYVAR variable. So \${MYVAR} will be equal to 7.
\${__intSum(2,5,7)}will return 14 (2+5+7) and store the result in MYVAR variable.
\${__intSum(1,2,5,\${MYVAR})}will return 16 if MYVAR value is equal to 8, 1+2+5+${MYVAR})
